Do
you feel like it’s time to get away from the norm of what
we call church? There’s nothing wrong with the old way that
we had church. There was some good stuff of the old that you have
to bring to the new, but there must be balance. Somewhere, we have
to get to the place where we stop being people that just walk around
with the word talking about, “My God can do all things…”
(Matthew 19:26). “No weapon formed against me shall prosper…”
(Isaiah 54:17). We quote the scripture very well, but we have not
learned how to execute the word of God. So, we can eat all we can
eat, but if we don’t execute it, it means nothing to us. It
doesn’t mean anything to anyone else if you don’t execute
the word of God. But somewhere, we have to take all of this knowledge
that we have—all of this word, and all of this anointing that
we have—and start executing what’s on the inside of
us.
The
thing that frustrates us the most is having something in our possession
and not knowing how to execute it. That’s your greatest frustration.
There is an anointing present now that will cause you to execute
what’s on the inside of you to establish the Kingdom of God,
but you must be determined. You must be willing to fight to execute
what’s on the inside of you.
Know
ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth
the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth
for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain
a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run,
not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that
by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be
a castaway.
1
Corinthians 9: 24-27.
That
twenty-seventh verse is so powerful. In essence, it’s saying,
“What is the use of me gaining all that I know, sharing with
others, and I myself lose out?” Have you ever noticed in your
own life how you’ve witnessed to people about the word that’s
in you then all of a sudden, they grab it quick. That word is executed
in their lives and things begin to happen in their lives. The only
thing you can say is, “Father, I thank you that I was an instrument
in their lives.” No longer can this be the case! The greatest
instrument is the example. If I’m going to be an instrument
in your life, you have to see the example.
It
doesn’t make any sense to witness to somebody about something
in God’s word, and they get it, and you don’t. But that’s
what’s happening in the body of Christ. We have become so
spiritual until we eat all this word, share with everybody else
and they benefit when you yourself don’t benefit because you
have not learned how to execute the word of God. We have only learned
how to witness the word of God, but not execute the word of God.
It’s time for us to execute God’s word so when the world
looks at you doing, they know you’re a part of the Kingdom.
They don’t have to ask if you’re a King’s kid.
They look at your fruit and know that you’re a King’s
kid.
We
have to move into a place where we can bring glory to God. God is
calling us to a place of maturity. We have to mature in the things
of God. He’s calling us to a place where we leave behind the
habits and the perceptions that keep us in a place of being spiritual
babies nursing on the church movement—and embrace the process
of Kingdom development that God has ordained for us. We have too
many babies in the church that are still nursing on the church movement.
“This is how the church has been doing it all these years…”
“We’ve been doing the same thing for fifty years…”
Fifty years you’ve been doing the same thing and getting the
same results. Somewhere, you have to change your mindset and move
into a Kingdom mindset. It’s all about the King.
Matthew
13 records that the Kingdom of heaven is likened unto a treasure
hid in a field. Understand that the Kingdom of God is the Kingdom
of heaven. The term “Kingdom of heaven” reveals where
it is from. The term “Kingdom of God” tells us who runs
us. Matthew 7:20 tells us that you will fully know the citizens
of Kingdom of God by what they do. Therefore, Kingdom people, and
Kingdom ministries are recognized by what they produce. You know
the Kingdom people because they are producing. They’re not
always just talking. They’re not always just hoping. They
are not always just believing. They are producing something in the
earth to establish His Kingdom in the earth. It is time that the
people of God begin to produce. When Jesus stepped on the scene,
He was a producer. It is time for us to get up and start producing
our assignment—start taking the assignment that is on the
inside of you and make that thing alive in the earth. It makes no
sense to have an assignment and no one knows about your assignment
but you.
This
message is for Kingdom minded people. I know I won’t reach
the “church minded” because they want me to say something
about the three Hebrew boys that were in a fiery furnace. The boys
have been in the fire, they’ve been out of the fire, and now
we have to move on from the fire and go on to something else so
we can establish the Kingdom of God in the earth. Yes, I know Daniel
was in the lions’ den. He was in the lions’ den, and
now he’s out of the lions den. It is time for us to move from
the lions den to establishing something in the earth.
Daniel
had his time. The three Hebrew boys had their time. Matthew had
his time. Joshua had his time. Ezekiel had his time. Now it’s
our time! It’s your time now. We bless God for the saints,
but somewhere, after we’ve seen and heard the example, we
have to stand up on the platform and say, “It’s my time
now.” Go ahead and decree, “It’s my time now!”
It’s
your time now. What are you going to do with the assignment that’s
on your life? It makes no sense to keep reading about David and
what he accomplished. That is the example. Somewhere I have to step
out of the shoes of David, step into my own assignment, and say,
“Lord, help me fulfill my assignment that’s in the earth.”
The problem with the church is that we get so stuck on the biblical
characters that we forget that God wants to use us just as He used
them. He put a crown on our heads and said, “You will do greater
things.” (John 14:12). Get ready! You’re getting ready
to do greater things. You’re getting ready to do some things
in this earth that’s going to shock the world.
